Accumulated in electronic control units so drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics or change egr system, regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
01838 Possible Causes:
01838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01838 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
