01837 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+ you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01837 Possible Causes:
01837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01837 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
