01837 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter interlock, circuit short to ground and wait then evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01837 Possible Causes:
01837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01837 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
