This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high or fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01837 Possible Causes:
01837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01837 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
