This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant pump control, circuit low also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01833 Possible Causes:
01833 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01833 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
