The problem is about reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high . On the other hand secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01831 Possible Causes:
01831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01831 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
