The problem is about power supply, voltage high voltage the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01829 Possible Causes:
01829 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01829 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between throttle body and intake valves
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
