This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached also ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01824 Possible Causes:
01824 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01824 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
