The problem is about charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cylinder 1 above knock threshold and wait then water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01823 Possible Causes:
01823 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01823 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
