Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly and wait then please check dtc memory of transmission ecu will delay your vw fault. |
01816 Possible Causes:
01816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01816 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
