Staring in engine bank 2, system too lean off idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance also shift lock, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01814 Possible Causes:
01814 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01814 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
