The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal for back-up lights, open or change kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
01812 Possible Causes:
01812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01812 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
