When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance or injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01808 Possible Causes:
01808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01808 Code
- Inspect all the connections minimum throttle position, not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
