Staring in engine camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground you can see the radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
01806 Possible Causes:
01806 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01806 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
