Diagnosing engine bar with mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) . On the other hand valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
01806 Possible Causes:
01806 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01806 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
