This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles system too rich at higher load, bank 1 you can see the egr system, regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
01803 Possible Causes:
01803 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01803 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
