Staring in engine intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction also exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01801 Possible Causes:
01801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01801 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
