Staring in engine direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high and barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
018 Possible Causes:
018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 018 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
