01799 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel pump "b" control, circuit high or activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01799 Possible Causes:
01799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01799 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission request torque reduction, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
