Accumulated in electronic control units so valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01798 Possible Causes:
01798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01798 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
