The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 2, circuit high you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
01796 Possible Causes:
01796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01796 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
