When you open valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance or exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
01796 Possible Causes:
01796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01796 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, electronics faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
