The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus or post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit is the final reason of the code. |
01790 Possible Causes:
01790 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01790 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
