Diameter in engine transmission range display, circuit short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01787 Possible Causes:
01787 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01787 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
