This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake egr system, regulation range not reached also pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01786 Possible Causes:
01786 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01786 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
