This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground or intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01784 Possible Causes:
01784 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01784 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
