This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1; system too lean at idle it can suddenly lead to a significantly more nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high . So for next intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
01783 Possible Causes:
01783 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01783 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
