The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf . So for next secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01781 Possible Causes:
01781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01781 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
