The problem is about injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system activation starter relay 2, short to b+ . On the other hand rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

01780 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01780 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
