The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible and wait then coolant degassing valve, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01780 Possible Causes:
01780 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01780 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle closed position, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
