01779 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injection pump, fuel calibration not learned also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01779 Possible Causes:
01779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01779 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
