Staring in engine glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01777 Possible Causes:
01777 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01777 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
