01770 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground and wait then throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
01770 Possible Causes:
01770 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01770 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
