This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) or change powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
01768 Possible Causes:
01768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01768 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
