This something to do with the intake camshaft timing shift lock, short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ also exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption will delay your vw fault. |
01768 Possible Causes:
01768 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01768 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
