This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing messages causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
01758 Possible Causes:
01758 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01758 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
