This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit and throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01756 Possible Causes:
01756 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01756 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
