01748 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant degassing valve, control circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel pump, mechanical malfunction or ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault.

01748 Possible Causes:

01748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 01748 Code

  • Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
