This something to do with the intake camshaft timing catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance . On the other hand reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01744 Possible Causes:
01744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01744 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
