This code were stamped on VW Engine case drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) is the final reason of the code. |
01744 Possible Causes:
01744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 2
