This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit also ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01741 Possible Causes:
01741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01741 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
