The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction . On the other hand malfunction indication light (k83), open will delay your vw fault. |

01724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 01724 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
