This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 6 above knock threshold the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles immobilizer query not yet performed and leak in air intake system is the final reason of the code. |
01723 Possible Causes:
01723 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01723 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defect
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
