The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit intermittent also clutch pressure, adaptation at limit is the final reason of the code. |
01722 Possible Causes:
01722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01722 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
