This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 1, circuit also reversing light, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
01722 Possible Causes:
01722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01722 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
