This code were stamped on VW Engine case glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low also transmission control unit, incorrect coded will delay your vw fault. |
01720 Possible Causes:
01720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 01720 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
