This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit low or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01718 Possible Causes:
01718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01718 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
