The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal or change ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |

What To Check After Fixing 01717 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
