When you open internal control module, driver error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reset-resistant limp-mode active or ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01717 Possible Causes:
01717 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01717 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
