The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked you can see the ignition switch run/start position, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01714 Possible Causes:
01714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01714 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
