The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground or change transmission range display, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01714 Possible Causes:
01714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01714 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
