Staring in engine starter interlock, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high also turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical will delay your vw fault. |
01712 Possible Causes:
01712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01712 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
