This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit you can see the motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01710 Possible Causes:
01710 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01710 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
