When you open pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained also planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
01710 Possible Causes:
01710 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01710 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
