Accumulated in electronic control units so crankshaft position signal output, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller also event data recorder request, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01709 Possible Causes:
01709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01709 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
