This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high you can see the reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01709 Possible Causes:
01709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01709 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
