This code were stamped on VW Engine case coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range and wait then nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01706 Possible Causes:
01706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01706 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
