This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open you can see the direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

01706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 01706 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
