017 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 also fuel supply heater, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
017 Possible Causes:
017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 017 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
