Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit you can see the activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
017 Possible Causes:
017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 017 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
