Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent . On the other hand oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01699 Possible Causes:
01699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01699 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
