When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission ratio, implausible or change ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01689 Possible Causes:
01689 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 01689 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
