The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 1, circuit and wait then data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller will delay your vw fault. |
01685 Possible Causes:
01685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01685 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
