When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance also exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak is the final reason of the code. |
01685 Possible Causes:
01685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01685 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
