The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic or change nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01684 Possible Causes:
01684 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01684 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
